Gertie’s Doghouse is a place for small dogs and seniors, to snuggle, play and nap in a safe, open, and stimulating environment. We have a backyard full of toys and room to run, or simply bask in the warm sun. We offer plenty of socialized playtimes and occasional mid-day naps.

  • Gertie's is THE place for all of your pooch's needs. I've not been fortunate enough to have my dogs stay for daycare, but friends that do love it. They have a great selection of leashes, collars, and dog accessories. The humans there are pretty great as well.

  • Definitely recommend Gertie’s to anyone wanting to board older and/or anxious pups. We boarded 3 dogs for a week at Gertie’s and were so impressed with the caring and accommodating staff along with the homey and comfortable facility. One of our older dogs has a medical condition and was cared for like one of their own pets! We love the variety of spaces offered for the dogs to explore, and how the staff sent consistent updates and pictures of our babies while we were away on vacation. Laurie and her staff were very attentive and communication was impeccable. We appreciate the exceptional care our dogs received and are looking forward to returning for doggie daycare soon!

  • Gertie’s Doghouse is AMAZING! It truly lets the pups feel like they are at home. And they love them through any anxiety they may feel. We received pics and videos while we were gone. When we saw Buttercup behaving there like she does at home, we were all able to enjoy our trip knowing she was ok (and honestly, spoiled).

  • Gertie’s has been an absolute godsend for us! We adopted a rescue dog that spent the first five years of his life being tested on and abused in a laboratory and we worried he’d never be able to socialize with other dogs. Laurie and her staff have been absolutely amazing with our sweet Walter! They were patient and kind in his transition and have helped him learn how to be a normal dog by giving him this safe and wonderful place to learn and grow and finally have fun for the first time in his life.

  • We were looking for a small dog, doggy day care and boy did we find it!! This business is amazing. It's just small enough it feels like home and the care is above standard. Our little 5lb chihuahua needed socialization but in a safe environment for a super small dog. Laurie has been amazing to work with. They play and love on the animals all day. We couldn't be happier
